GPUGRID: More workunits in the long queue

Mon, 01/16/2012 - 20:10
Dears, we're sending 1000 more WUs related to the modeling of neural system. These are named TONI_FAAEAC1 and TONI_FAAEAN1. They should give out 47700.9 and 36228.6 credits respectively. As always, make sure you disable the "acemdlong" app in your GPUGRID preferences if you don't have one of the latest cards. Toni

Rosetta@home: Project News Jan 16, 2012

Journal post from David BakerIn response to requests from many of you, we will be posting descriptions of the many scientific problems currently being tackled with Rosetta@Home on the Science message boards in the next couple of weeks--stay tuned! I also want to describe a new research direction we are now embarking on aimed at future cancer therapies. There are a small set of proteins which are frequently found at much higher levels than normal on the surface of cancer cells. We are starting to design small proteins which bind tightly to these tumor cell markers. If we are successful, we have collaborators who will be testing these proteins for their ability to target cancer cell killing agents to the tumors.

GPUGRID: GPUGRID's new Badge System coming soon

Fri, 01/13/2012 - 18:33
This is the first formal announcement for the new Badge System. Next week, we will unveil the badge images, although the final implementation may still take two or three more weeks. We can already tell you that there will be two types of badges: one for the total number of credits (one badge per user) and one to acknowledge the relative contributions on our publications (one publication, one badge). More soon!

Ibercivis: Ibercivis y EDGeS User

Mon, 01/09/2012 - 10:30

Espero haber aclarado vuestras dudas.

Saludos.
